This app gives you control over the Favorites in Edge that the browser itself doesn’t allow.

Once you’ve installed the app, open it and select all the favorites/bookmarks that have incorrect or missing favicons.

Caching lets you visit the same site multiple times without having to download those files over and over again – you save time, the hosting company saves bandwidth, and the world makes sense again.

Caching poses a problem when a website makes changes to certain files.

Another question I faced when working on this was whether I should save the favicon as a Today I was browsing this site on my Android phone and I noticed that the Google Chrome browser did not show this favicon on the list of recently visited websites.

With this, Windows 10 Mobile users can now pin sites like Amazon, Pay Pal and You Tube to the start screen to make up for a deficiency in native apps or even to save storage space on low-end handsets.

For desktop users, this makes using Edge Web apps better, especially with the advent of web notifications.

Now if only Microsoft allowed Web apps to run in their own “sticky” Windows similarly to Internet Explorer apps or Chrome apps, then perhaps Edge would become even more viable for power users. Try this out and let us know how you feel in the comments below.
